It's amazing how many furniture manufacturers apply heavily pigmented finishes in an effort to disguise varying wood species and achieve certain, even tones. After this antique dresser was fully stripped down, we uncovered some beautiful grain. We stained and finished per our client's request and this dresser went on to continue it's life with a much more bold and refined look.
