The Klipsch Cornwall "Designer Series" speakers come in an unfinished baltic birch ply cabinet. This has a very sleek and elegant look and feel, but provides no protection for the cabinet whatsoever. In this case, that led to some water stains and other blemishes. After addressing those issues, both cases received several coats of satin polyurethane to help preserve their natural beauty. We also custom cut ABS top panels for further protection.
